The strength of Polio Quebec rests above all on its members. Gathering more members means having more resources and means to help you, represent you and offer you opportunities for sharing and grouping. A greater number of members also allows us to have a greater impact on government policies.
Benefits of being a member
To be a member:
- Gives you the opportunity to obtain information through the Folio Polio newsletter, the Quick Info Flash (by email) and through our website;
- Gives you the opportunity to have support to regroup and discuss your situation and ways to improve your lifestyle;
- Enables you to encourage PPS research as well as public and medical awareness
Who can become a member?
- Who have had polio or suffer from post-polio syndrome (PPS);
- Who knows a relative or friend who has polio or its sequelae;
- Who want information about polio and PPS;
- Who contribute to the defense of the rights of people affected by polio and PPS.
How to become a member?
Membership in the Polio Quebec Association is done on an annual basis, from April 1 to March 31 of the following year.
In order to remain accessible to as many people as possible, we set the annual membership fee at $25 . We encourage members who so wish to add a donation of their own choosing to this membership fee.
You will receive a tax receipt for the total amount of your membership fee and donation (if applicable).
